IN MEMORIUM

Remembering members who are sadly no longer with us

Jennifer Batchelor

Jen sadly passed away after a long battle with Alzheimer’s, a disease which stopped her archery just as her performance was taking off.

Her enjoyment in taking part was matched by a wish to give back, happily bringing others into the sport and giving friendly help after. For a while, she was our Club Child Protection Officer.
A supporter of Twinning visits, she made many friends in the archery club of Conflans-Ste-Honorine.

They shot a memorial end and paid tribute to her on their website. A translation can be found here.

Frank Pullen

It is with great regret that we announce the passing of Frank Pullen, President of Thanet Archery Club.

Frank has been fighting cancer for some years. Our thoughts go out to Lynn, Frank’s wife and his two daughters Claire and Rachel.

Frank was a very active member of the club and put a lot of work into over 20 Christmas shoots and served in various capacities on the committee for many years.

His humour, friendliness and advice will be sorely missed.

RIP Frank.
