NOTICEBOARD

This is to give club members at least a months notice of this year's club AGM,

to be held at the club at 10am on Saturday 25th November.

Please note that any resolutions from members MUST be passed to me or

another committee member in writing or by email no later than 3 WEEKS

before the date of the AGM (Saturday 4th November). This is allow the

committee time to consider them before sending out the AGM agenda.

The agenda, audited statement of accounts & minutes of the last AGM will

be sent out to members no later than 10 DAYS before the AGM (Weds 15th

November).

While all committee members must be re-elected each year, there are 3 roles

which will become vacant this year.

Club captain (currently Jim Whiddett)

Head coach (currently Dick Bailey)

Safeguarding officer (formerly Helen Fox)

Attached is a list of role descriptions for all of the named committee roles.

Please have a read - particularly those roles above which will be vacant.

If you are interested in standing for any of these roles, please feel free to

have a chat to the chair Mike Davis, or to those who've been doing them up

until now. There is no deadline for registering one's interest in a committee

role, but obviously it would be helpful to the committee if we know of your

interest sooner rather than later.

As Jim Whiddett mentioned last Saturday, we have been clearing the ground on the far

side of the target field to make way for the walk-back target to be moved over to that side

and also for a clout practice range up to 180yds.

Unfortunately when we cleared the ground for the main target field earlier this year, we

dumped the bramble debris where we now want to locate the clout practice range.

So prior to starting our round on Saturday, we would like for as many who can help to

bring a garden fork and gloves with them to help load Chris Bullen's trailer and shift

the bramble mound elsewhere. The more of us who can muck in with that on Saturday

will get it done quicker.

Thanks everyone.
