NOTICEBOARD

1/ The announcement at Saturday's club shoot concerning looking for lost arrows.

From now on, on club shoots, if an arrow is missing you look for it that end, and the following end. The archer should make the field captain aware so all members can look for it over the two ends. If the arrow cannot be found in the the 2 ends, then it should be looked for at the end of the shoot, or recorded as a lost arrow.

2/ Change to fixture list. The club championship will not be held next week, but will be on the last day of the summer season Saturday 28th October. So more chance to practice. The shoot on 30th September will be a WA70 round. 3/ Please check the orphan arrow box in the sign in room to see if your arrows have been found. Among others, there are 5 identical arrows unnamed & unclaimed.

4/ Please ensure litter is removed from the field - we are trying to get a longer lease and appearances matter.

Hi all, Just a note to let you all know that the indoor archery season starts next Tuesday 3rd October. It will stop for Christmas, but continues through the half-term holiday. Please arrive at the Ursuline College sports hall at 6:30pm to start shooting at 7pm prompt The round is a 'Portsmouth' (5 doz arrows@20yds), and should be completed by 9pm. Cost of each session is £4 per adult /£2 juniors which is payable only at the door (not on your phone). This year will be run by David Brown. The member sign-in system will be used in the same way everyone

is now used to, except in the 'range used box ' please select Ursuline College at the bottom of the menu

- there will be a tablet to sign in when you pay at the door. For the benefit of those members who haven't shot at the Ursuline college before, here's the easy way to

find your way to the sports hall. PDF attached or link below. https://www.ursuline.kent.sch.uk/contact-details/ The page has an 'aerial view' map of the college entrance, and you can 'drag'/zoom the picture to help you find the way to St. Angela's car park, and there is now another car park nearer to the sports hall. The sports hall is the white-roofed building around the other side of St Angela's, marked curiously as "Invicta Artistic Roller Skating Club". Enter by the roadway adjacent to the Hundreds Farm Stables entrance (immediately after if coming from Margate direction, immediately before if coming from Birchington direction). When you get to the gate, press '3' on the keypad and drive through, Exiting the college afterwards is easy - you follow the straight road marked "Canterbury Road, Westgate" out to the gate, which opens automatically.
